Unresolved conflicts
Continue to battle in my mind.
Feelings further confuse things
As I grow undeniably tired.
Tired of the fear of the unknown;
Tired of the potential pain;
Attempted solutions
Fail again and again.
Prayers for an answer,
For a sense of inner peace,
Reverberate from my lips;
I seek to feel at ease.
Unintentionally I refuse
To believe it can’t be so.
Although I wish to initiate,
I respectfully don’t.
